LOCATION
Quebec City is a small city which makes it very easy to drive to and visit. The Hampton Inn & Suites Beauport Quebec is in the borough of Beauport. It’s a 12 km ride from the hotel to Old Quebec via highway 440. It’s a convenient and fast commute, on top of free parking at the property.
THE PROPERTY
Being in Beauport and by the highway, the property in a spacious setting. There is parking galore. The hotel lobby is spacious and features a few lounging areas.
An indoor pool and a fitness room are available. I did not have a chance to try them out. You can check the entire list of amenities & services.
HAMPTON INN & SUITES BEAUPORT QUEBEC BEDROOM
A very spacious room as you enter. Actually, it’s a suite-size room with a kitchen area, a bathroom with a sliding door (more and more used by Hilton properties and as witnessed in Turin & Montreal Airport DoubleTrees).

The hotel does provide a crib on request at no fee. Make sure you request it when you book.
VERDICT
The hotel is a great option for it’s location and savings it generates. Less than a 15-minute ride to Quebec City’s Old Town, the property offers free parking and free breakfast. These two alone can cost you easily $50 in a downtown hotel.
The Hilton portfolio is growing in Quebec City. With the upcoming opening of the DoubleTree hotel in Charlesbourg (former Hotel Signature, Four Points) and the Levis Hampton Inn, travelers have more choice to earn and burn Hilton Honors points.
