LOCATION
The Doubletree Wroclaw hotel is a futuristic looking property located just outside the city’s old town. It’s only a 10-minute walk to the old town. Although it’s primarily a business hotel, the hotel is located in the OVO Wroclaw complex which features restaurants, boutiques and a casino.
Check-in
Quick check-in at the hotel. The front desk agent gave me a letter welcoming me as a Hilton Honors Gold member. The letter invited me to access the Executive lounge for breakfast and diner.
The DoubleTree Wroclaw is a business hotel. It’s a big property and definitely feels different from my AC Hotel Wroclaw stay.
Doubletree Wroclaw King Executive Room
The King Executive room is very spacious and features a large living area. Typical Hilton product, even in Europe, where the brand often delivers large rooms and spacious commons spaces.
Executive Lounge
A spacious lounge with a friendly and warm staff. Foold selection was good as well as drinks and alcohol.
How much I paid
It cost 30,00 Hilton Honors points per night. I valued the hotel at 25,000 points but my stay period was in very high demand. Rates went above $200 per night, which is rare in Poland unless your in a luxury hotel.
Still, it’s good enough. My American Express Cobalt card paid for my 3-night stay thanks to it’s 5x points on groceries and restaurants but also to the monthly 2,500 bonus points when reaching the $500 spend threshold.
Verdict
A big hotel, the DoubleTree Wroclaw delivers a solid Hilton product. Hilton properties in Poland are new, with well-trained staff and a high quality food offering.
