Location
Only 10 minutes driving distance from downtown, the DoubleTree by Hilton Turin Lingotto is located in the Lingotto district. Actually it’s in the former Fiat factory megaplex which connects to a big mall: 8 Gallery. The nearest metro station is Spezia on Via Nizza.

We booked a 3-night stay at the property at $105 per night in August! With Gold status and a Double Your Points promotion running, it made total sense to book in cash and accrue Honors points. Gold status means that all 2 adults and 2 children (under 5) had a delicious complimentary Hilton breakfast.
Considering this is high season, the DoubleTree Turin has given us a lot of value.
The hotel
Visiting the old Fiat factory
The hotel is located in a big mall which used to be Fiat’s factories. As you walk around, you have a feel of the industrial design.
Furthermore, you can appreciate 2 majors venues. The first is the iconic former multi-floor spiral ramp which you cannot miss as you enter the mall.
The other spot is the former Fiat test tracks. They are located in the rooftop of the mall. Once you walk that space your imagination starts roll and you can only imagine how car tests went back in the 60s and 70s.

Conclusion
Should you visit and stay in Turin, the DoubleTree by Hilton Turin Lingotto is the hotel that will give the most value. The Hilton property honors your Gold and Platinum status benefits without questioning them at check-in.
